James P. Wagner is one of the owners and President at Wagner Agency, Inc. James has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Upon graduation from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985, James attended the Mutual Insurance Education Foundation Basic School of Property and Casualty Insurance at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. Upon returning, James joined his family insurance business as the first third-generation Wagner. James quickly became a strong producer and has worked in many capacities throughout his career at the agency. James has worked diligently to grow his family’s business while understanding the needs and responsibilities of the community. James has served on many non-profit boards and is most proud of his work at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh where he has served in many capacities including Vice Chair and Community Campaign Chair in 2012 and 2013. James enjoys traveling, food, golf, and skiing.
