Michael joined the Wagner Agency in 2007 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Finance.  Michael has experience in writing small business and middle-market insurance with a focus on social service organizations, senior living facilities, property developers and managers, and non-profit organizations.  He holds the professional designations of CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CRM (Certified Risk Manager) from the National Alliance of Insurance Education and Research and is licensed by the Insurance Department of Pennsylvania to provide property, casualty, life, health, accident, and disability insurance.  Michael previously served as President of the Insurance Club of Pittsburgh and is the 2022 Pittsburgh I-Day Chairman.  He also previously served as development committee chair, and board member, of Community Living and Support Services (CLASS).  In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing golf and is an avid runner, having completed three marathons and several half marathons.  Michael and his wife Kristen currently live in the Mount Washington neighborhood of Pittsburgh with their daughters Mary and Anna, and two cats, Charley and Lucy.
